State Dept No cessation of adoptions from Russia discordant to reports

The U.S. State Department says there has been no cessation of adoptions of Russian young kids by Americans.Reports of a cessation circulated Thursday formed on comments in Moscow from a Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman. He was reacting to the box of an American lady who sent her 7-year-old adopted son behind to Russia on a craft by himself.The U.S. State Departments consular affairs office, however, says it has reliable with the U.S. Embassy in Moscow and the Russian Embassy in Washington that adoptions are still being processed.
